Citizens for K.I.D.S.* (Keep Improving Dansville Schools), Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization started in Dansville in 1992 by a group of parents eager to help move the Dansville educational community toward excellence.

Citizens for K.I.D.S.* purpose includes:

  • To enrich the learning environment in the schools in the Dansville Central School District through parental and community involvement.

  • To encourage educational endowments for the benefit of such school district and its students.

  • To foster volunteerism on the part of parents, members of the school district and students.

  • To improve at all levels the relationship among parents, members for the community, teachers, members of the school administration and students.

Citizens for K.I.D.S.* is sponsoring Dansville REACH and has committed funding for the 2007-08 and 2008-09 academic years.
